The studio’s history began as a search for form in clay: the first experiments resembled sculptural sketches rather than familiar ceramics. Over time, this search took on a philosophy—to create not utilitarian objects, but objects that can evoke emotion and become part of the artistic world of interior design. For more than ten years, Nocterra has been developing its own artistic language. Our work is based on rare types of clay and porcelain, original glaze recipes, and bold firing techniques that allow us to achieve depth of color and unexpected textures. Each form is born in the hands of our craftsmen, and there are no accidents in this process: from the sketch to the final brushstroke, everything is subject to the idea.

We do not limit ourselves to the familiar: Nocterra seeks beauty in asymmetry, imperfection, and lines that seem impossible.
Nocterra items are art objects. They are rare because each one is created individually or in a limited series. They are valued by collectors and those for whom interior design is not just a space, but a reflection of character and inner energy. Our mission is to awaken desire and show that ceramics can go beyond the ordinary. We believe that each of our objects is a dialogue between material and human, between space and art.
